Mountain guide for over 40 years
My name is Roger Mathieu and I was born in Lucerne on 20 January 1960. I grew up in Andermatt until 1970 and then moved to Brig, where I attended the Spiritus Sanctus College. However, my medical studies in Fribourg had to give way to my passion for the mountains and so, after three years of training, I obtained my federal qualification as a mountain and ski guide in 1984.
